This recipe is so special to me. I watched my Uncle Robby make Gumbo growing up and I was fascinated by the process. So many layers and flavors. After he had his stroke, I continued to make the gumbo for our family and hopefully make him proud. He put okra in his so that’s how we roll. It’s not slimy so don’t worry 😊.

Gumbo Includes:

• Canned lump crab

• Smoked chicken sausage
